MDL Australia (Measurement Laser Devices) introduces a new Handheld Reflectorless Laser Measurement System “LaserAce 3D Survey” at the Australian Construction Equipment Expo 2009
The LaserAce 3D Survey is a handheld laser range finder providing simple, fast and effective surveying capabilities for a variety of applications. It enables the professional surveyor, engineer or layman to measure range, height, slope, missing distance and subtended distance to objects with point and shoot simplicity.
LaserAce 3D Survey has been designed to gather data more accurately and efficiently. Integrated with several valuable features, the LaserAce 3D Survey will assist in reducing survey time, enable direct reading with no computers required, display real time calculations easily measuring gradients and slopes.
“The LaserAce 3D Survey now incorporates a compass allowing the user to measure distance between objects” said Kellie Robertson, Product Specialist for MDL Australia. “The LaserAce 3D Survey also includes a rapid fire mode which enables measurement to ‘hard to hit’ targets such as overhead cables as small as 3mm diameter” she said.
The palm-sized Laser Ace 3D Survey is Class 1 eye safe (FDA/IEC), water and dust resistant and weighs only 400g. Measurements and calculations are displayed on a custom made back lit LCD panel. Data output is Bluetooth. The Laser Ace 3D Survey can be configured to interface to a range of data loggers, palm and pen computers.
MDL Australia will be exhibiting at stand A23 throughout the Australian Construction Equipment Expo.
